Important Installation Note

• The OEM hinge is seam-sealed from the factory. Use Hondabond or a Permatex-type sealant on the bottom of each billet base during installation to maintain a proper seal.

Pro Tip: Selecting the correct shock for your hood weight is critical. The steel hood shock and carbon/fiberglass hood shock have different valving — choosing the wrong one means the gas spring will either be too stiff or too weak for your hood. If you are unsure, reach out before ordering.
