    Installation Notes

    • A 1/2" to 1" shorter serpentine belt is required due to the included smaller pulley
    • Big 3 Wiring Upgrade is required when installing any high-output alternator — use 1/0 gauge 100% copper wiring for the battery positive, chassis ground, and engine ground
    • Optional voltage regulators available if you require a specific voltage setpoint — sold separately

    Pro Tip: The Big 3 Wiring Upgrade is the most important part of any high-output alternator installation. Your factory wiring was designed for a stock alternator — upgrading to 1/0 gauge copper wiring on the three main power and ground cables ensures your new alternator can deliver its full rated output safely and efficiently. Without it, you are leaving power on the table and putting unnecessary strain on your factory wiring.
